Private Handgun Range Training - (We call it Pistol 101)
Description: This is one on one private range time training that will insure that you are comfortable, confident and safe when shooting handguns.
In these classes we teach individuals or couples (or small groups). This is a hands-on shooting class that is taught at the range.
You will learn range rules and safety, and shoot a variety of firearms. We can also assist you with the selection of your own personal firearms.
Items that will be taught in “Pistol 101” include:
- Gun Safety
- Proper hand grip
- Proper shooting stance
- How to correctly use gun sites
- Live shooting
- Advanced shooting techniques
- Gun cleaning and maintenance
This class lasts approximately one and a half hours. We provide eye and ear protection as well as all firearms usage. Feel free to bring your own gun(s) and learn all about them in this class.
In this class you will have the opportunity to try several different handguns including revolvers and semi automatics of different calibers. This is a unique feature in the DFW area.
Private Pistol 101 classes available for $105.00 per person - Plus range fee
For 2 or more in a group the cost is $95.00 per person - Plus range fee.
Shotgun Classes
Private Shotgun Range Training -
(We call it Shotgun 101)
Description: This is one on one range time that will insure that you are comfortable, confident and safe when shooting a shotgun.
In these classes we teach individuals or couples (or small groups). This is a hands-on shooting class that is taught on the range.
Come learn how to shoot a shotgun. You will shoot clay targets on a professional gun range with a certified Shotgun instructor.
This class lasts one to one and a half hours. We provide eye and ear protection as well as all firearms. Feel free to bring your own gun(s) and learn all about them and shoot them in this class.
Private Shotgun 101 classes available for $100.00 plus target fees. Bring your own shotgun and ammunition or available at the range.
For 2 or more in a group the cost is $85 per person plus range fees.

Rifle Classes
Private Rifle Range Training -
(We call it Rifle 101)
Description: This is one on one (or very small groups) range time that will insure that you are comfortable, confident and safe when shooting a rifle.
In this class we teach individuals or couples (or small groups). This is a hands-on shooting class that is taught on the range.
You will learn range rules and safety, and shooting techniques. We can also assist you with the selection of your own personal firearms.
Items that will be taught in “Rifle 101” include:
- Gun Safety
- Types of rifles
- Proper bench shooting
- How to sight in a rifle
- How to use iron sights
- How to use optical sights
- Live shooting
- Advanced shooting techniques
- Gun cleaning and maintenance
This class lasts one to one and a half hours. We provide eye and ear protection as well as our rifles and ammunition for our rifles. Feel free to bring your own rifle(s) and learn all about them in this class. You will need to bring ammunition in the proper caliber for your rifles. We provide ammunition for 22LR caliber rifles. If you have a large caliber rifle contact us about ammunition costs.

Intermediate Shotgun Classes - Skeet, Trap, and Sporting Clay Clinics
You’ve been to the practice trap and are hitting 80 - 90% and have done about all you can and are looking for something a bit more challenging? Do you have an interest but don’t know where to start or just want to refine your technique a bit? Come join us for an hour and a half in a group setting to learn the ins and outs of these clay target games. You’ll learn the game itself, the proper rules and shot sequence, leading targets, ammunition and chokes and techniques to better your performance.
This is relaxed class intended to help you be comfortable and confident. You’ll be with others with the same desire and general skill level in a “let’s learn together” social setting. Taught exclusively on the range with a hand’s –on, let’s do it approach!

$85 per participant per clinic includes instruction and 25 targets. You will need to bring 25 rounds of ammunition or you can buy ammunition at the range. You’ll likely make some new shooting friends along the way.

Home Defense Shotgun Clinic
Many people have been told to purchase, have purchased or are contemplating a shotgun for general home defense yet have received little if any understanding of the use of that type of firearm in that type of setting. Nor have most either understood or taken the opportunity to think through the use of a shotgun for home defense. We will introduce a number of thought processes which should be incorporated into a plan for use of a shotgun in a defensive posture.
What this clinic covers:
- Shotgun types and operation
- Planning your home defense scenario
- Ammunition types and their use
- Safe gun handling and operational practices
- Shooting techniques and skill development
- Safe gun storage
This clinic runs approximately 2 - 2.5 hours in a group setting. You will be shooting so dress accordingly. Fee is $110 per person. Come as an individual, come as a family but come to make sure you’re aware of what you should and should not be doing.
Please bring your shotgun to the class. If you do not have one a rental is available. You will need 15 - 20 rounds of ammunition (Buckshot or Slugs) If you rent a shotgun you must buy ammunition from the gun range. Gun rental is $15 and ammunition is $1 to $2 per round.
Texas License to Carry
Texas License to Carry Class LTC (formerly called CHL)
Contact us for private or group training. We are not the typical 'rubber stamp' class. In our class you will learn all of the required legal and safety issues. Be prepared for a lot of important details. This class is a minimum of 4 hours of classroom plus a handgun proficiency test and is taught in one day. Contact us for details and to schedule your class.

As a new offering for people who cannot afford to spend 6 consecutive hours in a classroom, we have partnered with an OnLine LTC course. You can take the 4 hour course On Line at your own pace. When you complete the course, you can schedule your range time shooting test.

Home Firearms Safety
Home Firearm Safety Course
Short Description: This is a non-shooting course and teaches students the basic knowledge, skills, and to explain the attitude necessary for the safe handling and storage of firearms and ammunition in the home.
More Details: This is a four-hour course for safe gun handling that is conducted in the classroom only. Students are taught NRA’s three rules for safe gun handling; primary causes of firearms accidents; firearm parts; how to unload certain action types; ammunition components; cleaning; care; safe storage of firearms in the home; and the benefits of becoming an active participant in the shooting sports. Students will receive the NRA Home Firearm Safety handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Basic Firearm Training Program brochure, course completion certificate.
This class qualifies for court ordered safety training and includes a certificate of completion.
